Account Manager SP UK &I


Location: UK & Ireland

Reports To: Service Provider Director UK &I


Job Description: The Account Manager UK & I will manage and expand NETGEAR’s business within the Service Provider channels in UK & I by positioning NETGEAR’s very broad and competitive Customer Premises Equipment product portfolio to the Services Providers in the region.

NETGEAR’s product range is grouped into three major segments: Ethernet Networking, Broadband, and Wireless Networking, which include switches, adapters, secure wired and wireless routers, gateways and CPE equipment.

The Account Manager UK & I will work to position NETGEAR within key Service Provider channels in the UK & Ireland SP market, including Tier 1 & 2 wireline operators, large scale ISP’s (delivering broadband connections to the residential & business users) & Local Loop unbundling customers. In addition, to manage and grow the existing SP business for NETGEAR as well as develop new business.


  • To own, drive, deliver and communicate the full NETGEAR CPE portfolio solutions into the alternative carriers and service providers and ISP’s in the region.
  • Posses a thorough understanding of the SP & Telco market within assigned territory, the players, challengers, the market and its drivers.
  • The ability to operate and work remotely and independently within small regional team.
  • Proven ability to forecast sales numbers and commit on a monthly & quarterly basis, as well as carrying, reaching and over-achieving annual sales quotas.
  • Track record of managing sales cycles with numerous service providers as well as managing major sales cycles with PTT’s.
  • Ability to sell direct with partner management for fulfilment model purposes.

  • Able to work in a team environment but also work autonomously on own initiative
  • Comfortable with working long hours if required
  • Degree preferred.
