Combined Fast, Gigabit & Fiber Connectivity
This stackable smart managed network switch combines high density, non-blocking Fast 10/100 ports with Gigabit connectivity to deliver faster connection speeds where you need it most: The four copper Gigabit Ethernet ports can be connected to servers or used for a Gigabit-speed backbone (10/100/1000) for a non-stop, always available network that can quickly deliver large multimedia, image, and video files.
All 48 RJ-45 Fast Ethernet ports automatically negotiate to the highest speed and support Auto Uplink technology to make the right cable connection. Two of the four Gigabit slots can be utilised as GBIC slots to provide optional fiber connectivity for greater distance.

Stackable for Modular Growth
The FS752TPS stackable smart managed switch enables you to grow your network in line with business growth, adding switches to the stack as you need them. This approach protects the original investment and enables you to add extra port density (capacity) quickly and easily. All NETGEAR Stackable Smart Switches deliver performance and scalability through a 4Gbps, dual-ring, resilient stacking architecture. Mix and match 24 or 48 port switches up to 192 ports controlled via a single point (IP address). Use either copper or fiber connections to connect up your stack of smart managed switches.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) Connectivity
24 of the 48 10/100 (Fast Ethernet) ports available with the FS752TPS Fast, Stackable Smart Switch can be utilised to supply Power over Ethernet (PoE), using the industry standard IEEE 802.3af. With Power over Ethernet your business can easily deploy wireless devices including access points, IP-based surveillance cameras and VoIP telephones. Power over Ethernet enables you to position these devices on a ceiling or high up on a wall, typically away from most electrical sockets. This ability to be able to place devices anywhere, even where AC power is not available or difficult to install, significantly lowers deployment costs. With PoE electricians and extension reels are not required. |

Smart Management
NETGEAR's smart switches are ideal for cost effectively extending a fully managed network at the edge or to easily add management and control to an existing unmanaged network. These management features include The industry standard management protocol SNMP v1, performance monitoring, port configuration, VLAN for traffic control, port trunking for increased bandwidth to the network backbone or demanding user groups, and Class of Service (CoS) for traffic prioritisation.
In addition to the stacking capability and popular key management features listed above (available in all NETGEAR Smart Managed switches), these third generation stackable products offer even more control, including 802.1x protocol for security, Layer 3 traffic prioritisation, SNMP v2c and v3 and rate limiting.

Easy to Use & Manage
The FS752TPS Stackable Smart Managed Switch ships ready to use and stack right out of the box without management configuration. Smart Managed Stackable switches are easy to set-up and use via an intuitive web-browser interface, making it easy to monitor stack performance, configure ports and even set-up port trunks, VLANs and traffic prioritisation. LEDs located on the front panel make switch status easy to monitor and troubleshooting easy to accomplish. Alternatively you can use SNMP-based (Simple Network Management Protocol) software (including NETGEAR's own NMS100 software), to manage your Smart Switch. |
