Develop your own Firmware

The KWGR614 Open-source Wireless Router enables Linux developers and technical enthusiasts to tweak the source code to build in support for applications, either to add extra functionality previously unavailable or prioritise traffic to improve throughput to a given application.

Detachable Antennas

The KWGR614 Open-source Wireless Router has 2 detachable antennas to provide additional flexibility for increased signal strength. The two, 2dBi antennas could be swapped out for higher gain antennas for increased throughput.

Advanced Network Security

As with most of NETGEAR’s Wireless Broadband Routers, the KWGR614 Open-source Wireless Router admits only legitimate traffic by combining two proven standards: NAT and SPI. It also delivers the highest level of wireless network security with Wireless Protected Access, WPA2/PSK.
