Management & Control

NETGEAR's FSM726 Managed Switch supports all your managed needs with industry standard management protocols: SNMP, RMON DHCP and BootP. This Fast Managed Switch also provides advanced features including VLAN (virtual networks), DiffServ traffic prioritisation 802.1p (QoS) and RADIUS, 802.1x. Port trunking is available for increased bandwidth on dedicated ports or building backbone between switches, plus Spanning Tree and also port mirroring for diagnostics and debugging.

Combined Fast & Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity

The FSM726 network switch combines Fast and Gigabit wired Ethernet connectivity to provide a cost effective managed solution that also delivers faster connection speeds where you need it most: The two copper Gigabit Ethernet ports can be connected to servers or used for a Gigabit-speed backbone (10/100/1000) for a non-stop, always available network that can quickly deliver large multimedia, image, and video files.

All 26 RJ-45 ports automatically negotiate to the highest speed and support Auto Uplink technology to make the right cable connection. The two Gigabit slots can be utilised as two GBIC slots provide optional fiber connectivity for greater distance.

NETGEAR FSM726 managed switch is ready to work, right out of the box. Everything necessary for setup comes in the box. This switch is intuitive enough for new users but powerful enough for experienced professionals.
