Power-over- Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) capabilities reduce installation time and costs for many new network productivity devices. Advanced Security & QoS
The GS724TP and GS748TP Gigabit Stackable switches also provide advanced features that provide robust security to businesses which includes 802.1x for authentication and ACL filtering to allow or deny traffic based on the MAC address (physical address).
Priority queuing ensures high priority traffic always gets delivered efficiently and the GS724TP and GS748TP also provide an extensive set of Quality of Service (QoS) features including 802.1p based prioritisation, Layer-3 and Layer 4 based prioritisation and rate-limiting.

The GS724TP and GS748TP also have SNMP (v1, 2 and 3) to manage all networked devices, track and monitor data and easily enforce critical IT controls and policies.
